Programs for Schools

Campusblues.com
The college experience is challenging by design. Students learn about themselves and life by developing ways to adjust to new environments and support systems. This is an important process in becoming self-sufficient.

However, self-sufficient doesn't mean alone! Colleges and universities understand that students will require additional support from time to time. Most schools provide resources on campus to aide students through times of turmoil or crisis.

Campusblues.com supports the mental health and well being of students as they move through their personal transitions by offering quality, accessible and affordable assistance services.

"The high school years are filled with challenges, intense workloads, competing demands, and changes in your bodies, minds, and emotions. By definition, this type of environment will be stressful. But the important question is not ‘How stressful is school?’ but rather, ‘How does one manage these stresses?'"
-Janet Maurer, Germantown Academy Director of Counseling

HighSchoolBlues.com connects high school students and parents to their local mental health and well being resources including school specific counseling and community support services.

Student Assistance Program
If not you…who? Most parents want their children to come to them first in difficult times. Unfortunately, many parents realize that they can be the “last to know” when their child needs emotional support. Instead of talking with qualified adults, most young people rely on their friends for guidance.

Easy access to confidential, qualified support may help facilitate healthy decision making.

Modeled after the highly successful Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that companies offer their valued employees, the SAP is a specialized support service that has been designed with students' needs in mind and it's designed to offer maximum support to existing on-campus counseling services. Students receive:
  • 1 year coverage (12 months from enrollment)
  • Confidential 24/7 phone support with a licensed Mental Health Counselor
  • Unlimited free calls
  • Referrals to college and university counseling centers
  • Up to 6 paid face-to-face counseling sessions (optional)
  • Free legal consultation and referral
  • Free financial consultation and referral
  • Translation service
